Jim, FWIW, (not even a DOA chip) I have TMF rated dead last of the four message boards, even lower than Yahoo.

1. SI
2. RB
3. Yahoo
4. TMF

Yahoo is Yahoo, but a few things show up there that don't here (if you can get through the ever present slime bucket stuff). Also, a few good posters are there, and one sure sounds like an Intel engineer type. Don't ask who I think it is, you'll have to read and guess.

Re: "Rob Landley argues that AMD has gotten its act together and is hot on the trail of market leader Intel. AMD's Athlon chip, better manufacturing yields, and fabrication plants that support multiple designs have given the company a nice boost"

Jimbo, this is the most incoherent, idiotic article I have seen in a long time. I'm not criticizing you, but the author. He's truly clueless.

Jim, <Rob Landley argues that AMD has gotten its act together and is hot on the trail of market leader Intel>

This is the same Rob Landley who made a ton of inaccuracies in his previous anti-Intel rant:

Message 14318456

His latest rant isn't even worth one comment.

<Now we know why they call it the fool...>

I don't get it, really. The Motley Fool has always been pro-Intel throughout the years. Perhaps Intel's recent execution screw-ups are reason enough for TMF to re-evaluate their opinions. But that's no excuse for getting the facts mixed up, which Rob Landley seems to be doing.
