Info on TWAV..with AMAT deal done, I'd keep an eye on this one when semis are "on" ..

marketguide.com

wow...just saw the move NITE made in past few days; guess it pays to buy on rumor..

The other thing I noticed is the controlled buying in IOM of late, yet it is slowly creeping up (company buyback announced last week) ..bollngers are narrowing on chart so this one could make a move soon

Whenever I see PRSF dip below 48, I'm all over it ..have said it before, but this is still a favourite trading stock which rarely disappoints for a few points (either way, long or short)

Last but not least, COVD looking very good here..

good trading all,
NOK

Hi, Nok! It's great to see you "up and around" here on SI -- you're missed! I hope you're feeling well.

As far as I'm concerned, you're not missing much on the market front. There's the usual CNBC panic-mongering as we head into the annual Sept-Oct slump. I'm not trading much at the moment, instead doing fundamental research in hopes of anticipating some stocks and sectors that might offer good position trades for Nov-April. I'm finding it a lot harder this year to figure out what the broad themes might be going forward. Last year, B2B, wireless, semis, biotech, and broadband all stood out so obviously. But what'll be the big stories next year? There are a few themes that I personally think are interesting . . . but I'm finding it extremely hard to tell what will make the market buzz. It probably is still a bit early to detect what the big money is accumulating in order to pump and dump next year.

I look forward to seeing you back on SI full time. Keep those staffers at the hospital happy so you can check in again--. LOL!
