<<They own- and they paid cash. >>

Boy talk about a sin, paying cash is a no no. I paid cash for the house, the cars, the boat. Well, I pay cash. I can't get a credit card. My credit is too good.

I can see your point on the dogs though. All dogs can be taught to be nice. No, you don't beat it into them as many say. You make them part of your family, part of your life. Then a simple no will mean a bunch. ie, my dog Bud. Never hit him in the 14 years he was alive. If he was on a dead run at 300 yards and I yelled no he'd stop and sit, waiting for directions. A pitbull can be a sweet animal, it's the people that own him what counts. I'd be looking real hard at your neighbors.

Hah, you are redneck under the yuppie exterior. Vicious dogs may exist in redneck land (they do), but they get shot if they step on the wrong toes.

That's how we cleaned up the domestic-turned-wild dog problem here. There wasn't much choose. It was that or a kid getting mauled. Or an adult. Not that I like them as much. Except you.

My grandfather loaded his shotgun with rock salt. A good shot in the ass with that usually has the desired effect.

And Bilbo would NEVER want you hurt, or terrorized. Not matter you talked about him. Not to mention withdrawing your tender affections.

Lather is a man, though. Bilbo struggles with that one.

You're clearly not a redneck or you would KNOW why you keep big dogs just to keep big dogs.

If the dogs had to be restricted once before, they might be illegal -- some states have abandoned the "one bite" rule. (That's the rule where a dog gets one bite "free" and only on the second bite can it be destroyed.) Current trend in many states is one strike and they're out.

But for whatever consolation it's worth, if they own their house and paid cash for it, they have a lot of equity, so if anything does happen you can probably collect a nice judgment. FWIW.
