I buy the WSJ one day a year- when they have the All-Star Analysts issue. They prominently feature analysts who were either very good or very lucky the year before and then ask them for their current favorites. I've been following them periodically and managed to lose money on Leap Wireless a week ago after failing to grab my profits when the the stock was in the black for me. FYI, here's the list: Sawtek, Macromedia, Leap Wireless, Ciena, Neurocrine Biosciences, ViaSat, and NextLink Communications.
