yep, they did...the armor piercing uranium ammo, i remember.

i may not have been clear enough about this earlier, but imo the fact that Iraq could possibly eschew payment in the USD is potentially an extremely serious development.

like the fluttering of a butterfly's wings in one part of the world resulting in a hurricane half a world away...

It's called depleted, rman. Got a 40 mm round right here on the desk. Not much of a problem on the radiation side. Big problem if you eat or inhale it as it is a heavy metal. When they dig you up a couple billion years from now to see what you died from, it will all be in its final state - lead. -g-
