Yeah pretty wild ,the last two trading days....I had wrongly assumed that volatility would ease in light of the FED backing off it's rate hike policy....I don't know if it's the speed of electronic trading or just the need for the street to worry about something. But, given the next 90 days will prove to be frustrating as investors/institutions balance their portfolios towards a end of year rally. We're far from a bear market IMO, as the economies are in good shape regardless of current "oil crisis" I suppose traders are uncertain about market direction as slowing growth rates appear to be the focus....but in actuality we are returning closer to historic norms. I believe the tech cycle is strong and I'm looking for another 2years of prosperity driven gains provided by productivity and the expansion of the "internet effect" .....we will just move faster toward wireless and bandwidth for all. Just look at ORCL, very well positioned it's self....that's management leadership. side note: <g> just put a picture of Ellison and Gates side by side and you can see the difference in the strategic benefits of success....it shows<g> I suppose it's a question of style....Ellison is definitely GQ
