Given AMD's superior "here-and-now" product line and pricing advantage, it's inconceivable that AMD won't ship all their production. The only real constraint on AMD, given the "spry Athys" superior characteristics in the low, mid and high ends of the market, is production. With Dresden currently at 30% and looking to reach capacity by 2002 and upcoming new product launchings, it is unlikely that Athy demand will be satiated in the foreseeable future...70% revenue growth in Y2000 to $5 billion and minimum 40% in 2001 to $7 billion...Wouldn't surprise me to see someone attempt a raid if price remains at this level much longer...Where can one purchase a $10 billion company with such a star studded flash and microprocessor product lineup and the likelihood of throwing off $1 billion in profits in Y2000 and about $1.5 billion in Y2001...
