How far down the road are you looking for FREEDOM, Bonster?

Strategy for me is still LTB&H although I'm hearing lots of stuff that says that philosophy just doesn't hold water any more. Still that's were 80% of my portfolio is. The other 20% I trade, but I don't listen like you do to BAD NEWS.
I do stupid things like refuse to believe. And what's worse, I'm not diversified. In for a penny in for a pound (old English expression I believe).

It hasn't been a bad year for me - just a wasted year - so I'm one of the lucky ones.

Hi Bonnie:

Sorry for the delay. Spent Friday watching options expiration. Two surgeries were postphoned until next week (not my doing). Gave me the chance to runn some errands and watch the market. Started listening to new book on CD called the Fortune Tellers. Deals with the personalites that help drive the market (eg- Cramer, the CNBC crew to name a few). Controversy seem to be the anathema to the market place. Problem is that we have difficulty seperating hype (good/bad) from fact. Some people have a trigger finger and are ready to bail at the slightest scent of danger/controversy/risk. Again, the problem with some of these threads is that there can be too much consoling providing a false sense of security and commaradery while your position continues to deteriorate. Watched it happen with qcom over the year and with other stocks such as AOL and when the market turned sour back in march/april of this year. Thank you for your detailed feedback.

Best regards,

David
