irank, I* come from a family of Teachers and Public Schools are a privilege. Our present Cirriculum was researched in Oxford University "Rhodes Scholar Think Tanks" sent to Harvard for Refinement and then into the Schools in the 60's It was 'crap" then and is still crap. The minute they brought in "Modern Math, Phonics and SEX Education it went to "Hell in a Handbasket". I sought it then and tutored my six children at home. I believe I sent you my daughters "website"??? I could have been a Reformatory Matron as a Mother but my Children are all doing very well today. One Son is a Teacher in Ct. working on his PH.D. in Education. Three have their own Business, One is a Real Estate Broker and the sixth is an Advanced MS Patient;-( If you think Vouchers are the answer, then you are wrong. All Presidents and Vice Presidents should send their children to Private Schools since they can afford them.
