If you wouldn't buy companies blowing away all profit records (and buying back their stock like crazy) then what, if anything, are you buying?

I am into a number of E&Ps, but a drab little gas company like KWK, Quicksilver, might at some point be very good because they do regularly hedge --at this point, 73% of their production (maybe less if they have more coming in soon). But it might be tricky to try to guess your way through another boom/bust gas cycle, and with electric utilities depending more and more on gas, just getting into natural gas seems the best bet. MND has been heading into orbit, for example.
