RSA SECURITY LICENSES ENCRYPTION SOFTWARE TO CHECKFREE

Sep. 14, 2000 (Item Processing Report, Vol. 11, No. 18 via COMTEX) -- Bedford,
Mass.-based RSA Security Inc. [RSAS] Sept. 7 announced that Atlanta-based
CheckFree Corp. [CKFR], a provider of financial electronic commerce products and
services, has licensed RSA Security software components to further enhance the
security it provides for electronic payments, Internet-based payments,
electronic commerce, and electronic transactions. CheckFree will license RSA
Security's encryption-related products including RSA BSAFE Crypto-C, RSA BSAFE
Crypto-J, RSA BSAFE Cert-C, RSA BSAFE Cert-J, RSA BSAFE SSL-C, and RSA BSAFE
SSL-J software.
