Duane, on other sectors about the only thing I'm really into is B2B, such as Commerce One (CMRC) and Arriba (ARBA). I think this sector will do well, but it has recently been bid up. Also like Vertical Net, CMGI, and especially Safeguard Scientific (SFE). Vignette is also one I follow. These may get to be a better buy, but they have been stable recently. Think they can be bought at present levels for the patient. Overall, I think the tech craze may have a ways to run, but that 2001 may in general be a year of general, maybe sizable, weakness. No one ever knows. Who would have guessed we would see the run that we've seen.

Two people I like a lot on SI are Zeev Hed and Michael Burke. Zeev is quite bright and has a good grasp of the macro possibilities. He moves in and out fast. Has a very good understanding of the semis. Burke is a fundamentalist and thinks that this market has gotten way out of hand. Does a good deal of put plays in what he calls 90/10. Only put up 10% of cash on a put or call, reserving cash for those that don't work out right away. He also buys long-term in thirds, getting out of positions in thirds, as well. It is encouraging to me that Burke, a strict fundamentalist, likes the B2B plays and several internet related types like Exodus and BEA Systems.

You may know about them, anyway, but thought I would mention. If you have any people on SI whose comments you have found valuable, I would like to hear about them.

Best of luck,

Trindy
