Well as you know I have some BEC, although I acquired it indirectly through their takeover of CJE. $5 a share by the end of the year? Wow! If all my O&G plays were to trade at 5X cash flow by the end of the year I would be one happy camper. I think a more realistic target is 3-4X cash flow (I'll split the difference and call it $3.50). I'll bet ya a virtual beer and we'll see whose closer by Christmas.

JT, well I did look at oil and gas stocks based on your exuberance for Belair. Unfortunately I picked something else, Avid Oil and Gas (AVO.A)which has not performed as well as BEC but a lot better than TOMmy.

Speaking of TOMmy, expect AGM in November. Expect a road show (finally?, will it ever happen) possibly after announcement of a business venture.

Take a look at NCD.UN (income trust), they have in the money warrants, ex. price of $3.51, stock is at $3.87, warrants at .31(a discount!). Warrants exp. in Feb. 2001.

Off topic: I've updated my year end target price for BEC.

I'm moving my target price from $5.00 down to $3.20 by year end. Basically, the Co. is not meeting (my) production expectations and has sold 350 boepd of their production at what I see (only an opinion) at an unusually low price (approximately $10,000 / bbl /per day).

So, new forecast: .... ~.80 CF for 2000 (down from $1), and a CF multiple of 4 (down from 5)....=> 4 x .8 = $3.20 by December 31, 2000.

Considering current level of $2.30 +- .10, there's a realistic expectation of +40% return by year end.

That's all for now.
