Hey, we are headed in the right direction. All people should be treated fairly and evenhanded. We all agree on protection for basic living. So, x amount should not be taxed. I believe Bush has 36000. for a family of four wouldn't be taxed at all. That is fair. Those of us who are a bit more fortunate should pay taxes but with a simple tax program. Either a consumption tax or a flat tax on all income over x amount. Keep it simple and no one could be critical.
