GV-Re: (OT) Oil Prices

Back in March you posted some interesting comments regarding OPEC capacity and oil prices. In that post you commented that Saudi and UAE were the only members of OPEC that had excess capacity.

You had pretty good vision. Here is an article from CNN where Kuwait claims they do not have the capacity to produce their new quota. Nice call. I'm not sure that Saudi and UAE have the excess capacity that many people think.

Interesting also that INTC was trading around $114 (pre split) at the time. That's pretty close to where it is now.

Are you a buyer (of INTC) at these levels?

<I find it rather amusing that the thread all of a sudden has discovered the shoddy job of research the Fool
does. The Fool has always had rather inferior research. Of course, it usually has been bullish on Intel, but
I'm sure that isn't why no one here has criticized them before. >

When they are bullish and they write something ridiculous, investors don't pay attention. But the words and tone of that article are totally ridiculous. That is probably the reason no one every paid attention to TMF before. You're right, they won't affect our portfolio, but I'm sure certain investors read that and sell.
