concern over the euro valuation is overblown. the european companies that have purchased US companies in the past two months have done so with US dollars. large European companies continue to make most technology purchases utilizing US dollars. that would include PCs

the Euro is down in part due to popularity and concern. european companies typically hedge against the euro too.

there's an article out on that from Europe. when i get it will post

europe remains dichotomous relative to currency utilization

Leigh,
Hi!!

RE: "People aren't pushing for cheaper notebooks. The reality is that people are buying DVD, whether they need it or not," Andler said. At the same time, "We've hit a level of (clock speed) performance that they think is acceptable."

Analysts agree that the consumer market is shifting.

"Consumers are buying up the curve, because they want more features," said Randy Guisto, an analyst at International Data Corp.

Shift to mobility huh?
:o)

Best, Kemble
