It's their land, why should they have to pay taxes just because someone died? And why 55%. At most it should be capped at 20% as a long term asset being sold.

when a person dies, they should just burn all of his possessions... the kids don't get the booty, and neither does the government... sort of like 'taking it with you when you go.'
