ANAD losing a 'nad over this:

biz.yahoo.com

While the Company anticipates a record third quarter 2000 in revenue and EPS, it noted that its No. 1 wireless customer has recently formally notified its suppliers, including ANADIGICS, that difficulties with component supply due to a fire at a supplier's factory earlier this year has caused it to reduce production and forced it to balance stock levels by rescheduling and in some cases canceling purchase orders with its suppliers. Consequently, ANADIGICS anticipates a total sequential revenue shortfall of 30% - 35% from a third quarter revenue target of approximately $51 million, which will result in a substantial reduction in fourth quarter earnings from the third quarter.

Give me a flipping break! Is *EVERYBODY* going to use this "it ain't the cycle, it's somebody else having supply problems" excuse? Come on! LOL! Does the anonymous heresay eliminate the possibility of a lawsuit or something? With the flood of money dumped into capital equipment, there is no way.

This cycle ends early because too many people were way too bullish way too early.

Maybe it's a misprint - it wasn't a disastrous fire, it was a disastrous fire sale.

*That* I'd believe.

ANAD warned? Missed that.

Seriously, you know what I want to pay for? A news service that only prints headlines of important bad news for markets, politics, and the S&P 500 equities. I only wnat impt headlines, not garbage and permabull/broker bullchit.

This would be a winning service. Who wants to pony up some VC for it? C'mon, think of the cool name we could give it. What about a free Web site for delayed news. We could sell ad's too. LOL LOL

(Seriously, this would be a cool thing.)

Am short again with bad entry.
