One has to believe Sara Lee's moves to eliminate vertical production into merchandise brand licensing by quality resource providers in whatever world market place they locate(eliminating freight and import costs)will prove very profitable now and in the future.

For one thing it will benefit them in currency exchanges and costs with the US dollar being so strong. Should these monetary situations turn around they will not be bound into facilities and employees that will require their continuing funding and upkeep. The word is lean and mean.

In recessions food and clothing are still vital basic elements for consumer purchase. Leisure spending like eating out and other elective spending decisions will be put off.

In the long run the investors will see the values in the bottom line. This stock should move up.
