China Unicom president to visit Seoul
China Unicom President Yang Xianzu will arrive in Seoul Sunday for a six-day visit, SK Telecom said.

Yang is visiting to observe SK Telecom's network operation situation ahead of China Unicom's cdma2000 1X service launch in 2001, said SK Telecom, which successfully tested cdma2000 1X service for the first time in the world.

During his visit, Yang will have a look around SK Telecom's central research center, discuss bilateral technology cooperation plans and meet high-level government officials such as Information and Communication Minister Ahn Byong-yub.
