Rande, Kevin, you should see what those bastards do in the options & futures exchanges. They make the nasdaq & NYSE look like Mary Poppins. I also doubt it will ever change, because there is almost zero incentive for anyone to really change anything. So, you just have to know your place on the food chain...

Anadigics = Land mine! How far does manipulation go? Just noticed that there is a "corrected" news story. The correction mentioned is the mixup between "Q4" and "Q3" revenue shortfall. Anyone actually reading the release would have figured it out, but those traders looking only at headlines would have thought this was a company warning of a CURRENT quarter earnings miss.

Anyone think this headline mistake and correction are also part of blatant manipulation? Seems too easy, but certainly does work well.

"they" watch the same data and interpret it differently, "they" manipulate, "they" read our posts, "they" play the game hard with their own rules, "they" try to take our money.. for every trade there is a winner and a losers, "they" just need to find or CREATE losers....sometimes it's easier to control the process than be controlled by it.. thus the need to CREATE losers can be more effective than waiting for them...

Now from my real cynical side( sorry !) ... do you really think that this game that's been going on for 100s of year and has more linkages than octopus has arms isn't going to resist change very strongly? Shouldn't the individual investor seek to play the same game ...If one wants to play the game get to know the rules....does trying to "play fair" create a disadvantage for the "moral" individual investor?
