Larry,
Well, I have mixed feelings about him. He used to irritate me to no end, as I felt he constantly whined about how wrong and irrational the market was while it went severely against him. Then his tone changed a little, and I got some sympathy. Most of all, perhaps, he is a pretty good writer, and I always appreciate that craft, especially when it comes from market commentators.

He isn't at all stupid, for sure, he certainly was/is right in saying that there was craziness (and still is in an ever smaller number of stocks), but I just wish some of these guys would stop saying that Mr. Market is always right when they speak politically and in abstract economic terms, but then say how irrational and crazy Mr. Market is when they speak about the actual market. Their claims to be "scientific" and prescient are absurd. It can be so self-serving that it is umseemly.
