So far the poll is:

5 say Clinton isn't involved with jiggering BLS numbers, 4 say he is.

I guess I should say that when I say 'involved with' I mean directly... not some mole coming to him and saying they're going to switch to hedonic chainweighted geometric gobbeldygoop and he say's O.K.... I mean being a prime mover himself in getting the numbers to look good, or being fully aware of such a movement. If there is a movement to correct an overstatement of inflation that he has condoned I think one has to say that this is not a giggering if he believes it is truly a corrective measure.
