I am glad to see johnd went bearish yesterday and is making some money. I do not take pleasure in anyone elses misfortune. The fact that plenty of people have posted on this board explaining the holes in MSFT's plan makes me feel less than sympathetic towards MSFT investors.

Please feel free to refer to my prior posts regarding MSFT's turn in the market. I predicted the day Ballmer took over from Gates that this was the start of a downward spiral for MSFT. How long decreasing revenues (y/y) will last is anyones guess.

At one time I was a MSFT shareholder and profited. I did not short the stock because it is my policy not to short stock. There is unlimited loss potential if I were to be wrong. What I did was invest in companies that compete with MSFT as a long using sophisticated investment techniques. Fortuneatley, I have profited from taking this position.

By the way, you seem a bit pissed off.

JMO, Bob.
