Ho ho ho... Grant's article subject:

"Cisco Systems is not only the world-wide leader in networking for the internet-the proverbial No.1 seller of picks and shovels to the miners on Internet Mountain-but also a force for imagination and innovation in accounting."

Graphs of CSCO's margins and ROE look like a ski jump... only without the little take off ramp on the bottom!

By the way... that WAS a nice call on the bond... and speaking of 'bonds'... or credits and credit spreads... another "Grant's" article:

Mike Brosnan, deputy comptroller for risk evaluation at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency: "Back then [The 80's] some of the weaker credits might not have had pay-down requirements for five years... nowadays we have seen some credits go out eight or nine years... AND these are not AAA credits, these are highly leveraged, non-investment grade credits that are prominent in syndication."

Pretty much what you were saying last week.
