RE:"but, hey, oj walked, so anything can happen."

This is true. Am I wrong or does RAMBUS have the potential to go to zero if they start losing some cases? Or just one case. Infineon and Micron should take it all the way, just to find out.

Also, how long before RAMBUS becomes a dead issue and the computer industry moves to some new memory architecture?
Be sure they won't let "Rambus" happen again...

Jim

Skeeter, you got to have more respect for our judicial system, OJ walked, thus in my book, he is innocent. If you follow the scandal in the LA police department, you would see that planting evidences and framing innocent citizens is not beyond the LA police's pale.

As for Rambus' IP, right now, and until the courts decide otherwise, yes, I am convinced that they have a lock on the whole DRAM industry. And thus whether MU makes money or not, the Bu$$ will collect royalties. For how long? How much (will the dram business get irrational again and total yearly shipment due to declining ASP go to the $25 B range), I know not. I have a conservative model saying that the bu$$ can earn sometime in the next 3 to 4 years something of the order of $4/share, and I have a "fair price" of these earnings at $100. Many on this thread maintain I am too conservative, you of course take the position that I am too exuberant. Well, c'est la vie.
