Warren Buffett says the same thing!! I read a book years ago about Warren, how he was running an investment partnership before he bought the shell called Berkshire Hathaway, and it struck me that he stayed home all day and played with his train sets and read books, and even then was one of best money managers of all time. And then it struck me, I can do the exact same thing. And I am.
I should also mention that Warren's neighbors thought he was nuts, and so did mine 5 years ago. Now they understand, and are always asking for guidance...

The book is called the Midas Touch, by John Train, copyright 1987...

About the same time, I read a book called Metal Men, about Marc Rich, probably the best futures trader in the world.
I actually went to see him in Zug, Switzerland, back in the 80's. Well, I was there skiing anyway, so I just looked him up in the phone book. Amazing.
That book gave me the courage to play the futures markets, and I have never looked back..
