Hi Cisco...it's just enough to watch the shell game in DC...If it's not one thing, its another. I'm starting to get really nervous about the next couple of years, no matter who is in the White House...

The last 8 years have just left shells all over the place....(just go to the library and look at magazines from 1985-1995 if there is ANY doubt....

Medical Care....It was high before 1992, they were going to "fix" it....the cost and problems are worse than ever..

Middle East ---right ---that is fixed all right

Oil and Gas ----ditto

Credibility in the world ---all I can do is shake my head

Economy--- Well...on one hand, we cheer if the unemployment rate goes UP--on the other hand...many companies are laying off people...The interest rates are up...and people wonder why the retail sales are down....and therefore company profits are down...Basic energy costs are UP, and the government figures don't choose to show that in the inflation figures....Yes, there is a labor shortage....BUT it's largely because the birth rate in this country was at zero growth in 1970....and more of the jobs being created today are tech. What kind of jobs are all the other sectors creating? And how many of them are there?

Or am I just missing things all together.???

If I were Bush and Cheney, guess I'd ask myself if I *really* wanted to win....is it better for Gore to win, and see if they can get us out of the messes that have been and are being created.....

Or is it just me this morning? Have I been listening to Bob Brinker and Bill Fleckenstein too much?
K~~
