Murali, I have to disagree.

I don't see how allowing me to file for bankruptcy helps me, if your business fails you are just as broke after filing for bankruptcy as before.

Regarding other provisions where the government tries to help, you are wrong there. Anyone who has ever been self-employed can tell you there is no help out there, and that in fact the government is a tremendous hindrance, whether it be the federal, state, or local government.

The real problem is that we, as a nation, have been conditioned to believe that corporations are evil, that all business owners are rich bastards out to oppress their employees, etc. (I blame this on the Baby Boomers, of which I narrowly missed being a member). We have idiots in Congress and elsewhere complaining about corporate welfare, blah blah blah.

We have "civil rights advocates" ready to jump down your throat and sue you if you hire the wrong person. We have the Disabilities Act, which is the biggest piece of worthless #### ever enacted by Congress.
