Both fabs are about 6000 wafers per week in capacity but Fab30 is only running at about 20-25% so say a total of 7500WPW or 97500 wafers per quarter. Combining Athlons and chipsets would give 7.2 million units total per quarter if AMD produces 1 chipset component for each Athlon. 7.2 million units from 97500 wafers would be less than 75 die per wafer, on average. Very low numbers. Twice that would still be low numbers.

Does AMD have yield problems? You tell me.
