Hi Zeev Hed; I hear that the mafia uses knives to kill people for drug debts all the time. Knives are much more efficient than guns: (1) Knives don't make any noise. I guess the screaming victims do, though. (2) Knives are deadly weapons. Maybe a silenced .22 is also a deadly weapon, but no question about it, knives are deadly. (3) Knives allow you to kill people without getting yourself covered in incriminating blood. You just have to use a technique that is entirely secret to the mafia. (4) Knives are legal to carry around in California. Except, of course, if they have a 6 inch blade. (5) With knives, you can kill repeatedly at a long distance. You just throw, and then go pick it up. No magazine to refill like you have to with a gun. With guns, you have to run up beside the guy, and hold the gun against the victim to be effective. (6) Knives never miss! Guns are notoriously inaccurate. (7) It is exceedingly difficult to cut off someone's head with a gun. -- Carl
