"Thought highly of" maybe, I didn't feel he "promoted". Still, I wish I had listened to (was it charred?).

Disconcerting??? Why? BGO management has clearly shown themselves to be incapable of managing a gold mining company. Ken Benes and many others saw the writing on the wall and said the same thing on this thread almost 3 years ago now and I argued vehemently with them that they were wrong. Time has proven them right.

I have never "promoted" this stock but I certainly was an enthusiastic stockholder that saw great promise in the development of the Aldebaran property and the potential in many other properties owned by BGO. They have blown it regarding Refugio, El Callao, and haven't touched Quebrada and other outstanding properties. It has become obvious to me that management is only interested in bleeding as much cash out of this company as they can and it is very much to the detriment of the stockholders. Anyone would have to be blind not to see that at this point. I have never been married to this stock and I'm not blind.
