Rob -- I take it that in your new economy the business cycle has been abolished -- what a relief!! I had no idea that the possibility of a recession was an "over the top suggestion". Are you serious? Or is it my turn to have a good laugh :) Just in case you are serious, what color is the sky is this new world -- I want to know how to recognize it in case I ever see it for myself.

Rob, a little Biotech down here in San Diego just went over the top. >Corvas International is engaged in the design and development of a new generation of therapeutic agents in thefields of blood clot formation (thrombosis), inflammation, cancer and other diseases. For the 6 months ended 06/30/00,total revenues rose 33% to $4.4M. Net loss fell 4% to $4.5M. Results are attributable to a $2.5M license fee from Schering-Plough, partially offset by increased R&D expenses related to the clinical trial of rNAPc2.
