I'd have to say I provided it to money, via SI.

The info I provided about myself is already registered at so many places around the web by now, one more hardly matters.
I'm in the phone book and such, so I'm not particularly guarded about it. I used to even use my real name as screen name, but friends convinced me to use an alias.

But that's just me. I didn't bother to check the provider's privacy policy. If they want to sell my info, I don't care.

I certainly understand and respect your desire to maintain as much anonymity as possible, though, and if you don't feel comfortable with someone's policy or track record, by all means, don't let them know you exist. X-)
