Select Option: All Other-OTC Issues ; 2. In Search Criteria: Enter part of company name; 3. Select either Option: Starting With or Contains , and 4. I will not insult you by saying click Request . Hit Enter <g> In the case of North American Palladium Ltd., North American P failed. Did second search on palladium , and it returned the listing at the top of this message. Usually when that search returns UNASSIGNED , rather than FOREIGN , I would take that response as a negative for a foreign symbol. However, I knew they had one and trade on a Canadian exchange... One technique (?) that sometimes works is entering a company name in the small Search window on one of the stockhouse.com sites(Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, UK, etc), (upper right corner); which in this case would have returned the above Symbol. However, a test of this site with several known Crazy symbols failed. Bloomberg.com has an extensive symbol database and doing a Lookup Symbol search on this company would have returned the Crazy symbol. If the OTC search had returned FOREIGN, rather than UNASSIGNED, you still might not be able to find a quote. In order for an OTC Crazy symbol to be active for a quote, the company has to hire a MM to activate and updates quotes for their Crazy 5-letter symbol ending in F. Not trying to preach or insult your intelligence, just sharing some information I learned the hard way. Not that you might be interested, but it is amazing the number of foreign companies that have these symbols and are actually active. I purchased PDLCF last spring. IMO a good entry point may have been missed. We are up about 40+% on that one, down more than 50% on the other ones we own. Other than PDLCF, we own several junior mining companies - obviously high risk. It may be too high now, but I would suggest you look at Stillwater Mining (SWC). They are the largest N.A. producer of Palladium (don't quote me on that one). Here is a stock board on PDLCF:siliconinvestor.com subjectid=9271 and one for SWC:Subject 15415 Happy Mining! Merry FYI: I refer to these symbols as Crazy because Only in America do we have these designations.
