LVL- you are correct about the taxes in the UK, I was
talking to some of my friends last night that are from the
UK. The big issue with them is the taxes at the pump, to the
point of protesting at the petro stations.
What is your take next week on the market ? I follow
CSCO closely, and the last 15 min. there was alot of action
to the up side. Everyone around is talking down, down, down
or not sure where its going. The market in the recent past
is catching most everyone off guard. My guess ( since Im
still learning T/A ) is to the up side because its contrary
to the media. We did not go below 3800 so Im expecting a
technical bounce at this point.

OT LvLamb:
My uncle in Bielefeld bicycles to work every day. In the US I don't drive much at all (work at home) I don't consider this battening down hatches- it feels good, and I hope others can make transitions without too much hardship. I have gone "euro" with a tankless aquastar water heater-no pilot light (www.cechot.com)and soon to get a new furnace. I just learned to kill the gas furnace pilot light over the warm months (now that fall is approaching, naturally) I like to try to do better about this stuff. - Not your average US energy pig! lol
