The EPIC/MRA poll shows that Ohio now is a statistical tie, because of the margin of error. The state I'm watching closely is Colorado. Like Ohio, it's starting to tilt more Gore's way. A defection in a Western state would be most damaging to the Bush camp psychologically.

Watched a program on TV late last night comparing Dubya's speeches to his old man's speeches. Program pointed out that Dubya is essentially giving the same speeches that George Sr. gave 12 years ago: same terms, same phrases. One thing jumped out at me: George Sr. was pretty good at giving a speech; George Jr. is nowhere near as effective.
