Hi Nick,
Elastic is in a quiet period, since they are raising capital, which will last 25 days beyond the IPO date.
Even if we were a majority investor in Elastic, ITE could not coordinate with Elastic news about their upcoming IPO. While in this quiet period, ITE must also be careful regarding references to Elastic. You can be sure ITE would be adhering to advice of its attourneys with regards to their conduct/announcements during this quiet period
It is likely we will see buy recommendations on ELAS from major brokerage firms in the US, but not until 25 days following the IPO when the quiet period is over. Often times these new public companies are propelled higher weeks following the IPO due to the thorough analysis of Wall
Street analysts who gives the company greater exposure in the investment community with their positive reports. All this IMHO. I am well aware of IPO formalities and the code of conduct required of all parties is quite strict. ITE management is conducting themselves appropriately here, I feel as much as you and I would like to see them "shouting" from the mountain tops.<gg>
Regards
C
