Well, I would say that's the trashiest article I've seen. Inuendo of accounting irregularities, etc. That's all been hashed through last year.

This is a brief weak period after earnings and before LMNE IPOs, and it is being fully capitalized on - first through the drop associated with the 9 million shares being sold, now this article. IMO, somebody wants the price nice and low while they can get it there.

Did you notice all those big blocks this week? For every seller there was a buyer. Gee I wonder who did the buying? I can't afford 100K share blocks - can you?

That's all I'm going to comment because that's all that trash is worth. To think I used to respect Barrons too.

Here is a 9/15 rehash of the NT optical spinoff I posted earlier this month. Nothing much new - actually there is even LESS info here, but it came out Friday, and perhaps some here missed the first article.

face it paul, "off wall st." is a shorting firm who has basically lost their financial *sses in a bull market. i mentioned last week the traders were seeing about 2mil additional in short positions over the prior 4 or 5 trading days... doesn't take a genius to figure out where some of those trades came from.... someone ought to alert the SEC about these guys.... it'd be interesting to see if they were "front-running" a story they were placing in Barron's. for the record, i'm not saying they were, but it would certainly make for interesting research from the friendly folks at the sec...

I think someone should set the record straight on this article- Roberts is entitiled to his opinion of course. but despite all the unethical slants the article doesn't even add up. Normally somebody arrives at a value price in barrons there is some explanation of how it got there.
Even if you look at their own numbers- it is tough to get to $12.50 a share. I think its impossible. Yet the editors of Barrons just allowed him to throw that out that number and leave it there. I wonder if they would be so cavalier if I wrote a letter and explained that I thought dow jones was worth $10 a share becauese inernet low margin sales will cannabalize higher profit print sales. and advertising rates will be much lower for internet driven products.
