however, mutual funds are going to have tax-loss selling before end of Oct and individual traders will definitely have tax-loss selling before the end of the year.

With the amount of margined accts that got killed this year, I imagine that many people are still hurting.

Challo, everyone that I have read (on SI and off) is expecting October to be a bad month. The elections aren't too far after the end of October.

Seems if that were true October would be a stellar month.
The masses are almost never right. How could they be?
