Did Gore ever divest himself of all that Occidental Petroleum stock and Tobacco ties?

Around 1974, AL Gore senior bought a "zinc mine" next to the Gore family farm, and "resold" it to his son. The price was I think $160K, and clearly Junior didn't have the money at the time. Ever since then, Occidental pays 20K a year to Gore Junior for the rights to mine zinc from the property.

Such "relationships" between corporations and politicians are unfortunately common. But the interesting part is that runoff from the mine pollutes a local waterway, LOL!
