If you look at past (1998 to this year) charts, most were well on their way to recovery by the end of Oct. most were even higher. The question remains are we dealing with something different this year other then the normal end of the year cycle and general market weakness that is seen this time of the year? That's why I said it will take a few quarters to sort it out. Add to all this supposed slow down talk, is the prospects of component spin-offs from LU and NT, diluting the dollars that would normally go to our pure play JDSU/SDLI. All this points to a very complex set of variables for the market to absorb. Greg
