Yes, Glasgow score of 8 to 11 mortality is lower, it is actually "pre-shock" also called the "hot phase of shock" cause fever and increase metabolism predominate, before the "cold phase" or "full shock" when hypothermia and complete metabolic derangement is the norm.

Those G8-11 are indeed to expect a 5% to 10% mortality, I did the breakdown calculations many times in the past, go and check at the time we were looking for the "total mortality" number.

By the way you got the exact number, my calculation was about 30 to 50% higher than yours, something like 34 vs 45 to 60, obviously for some reason I was expecting higher mortality than you, and now you are surprise with your own prediction!
