Re:the impact of being added to the Footsie Global 100 - The performance of the those being added as opposed to those being removed in what was a down day for the indices on Friday suggest it did in fact have a positive impact. Furthermore the little snippet you provided indicates that their could be additional buying in the coming days. We shall see! Wouldn't be surprised one bit to see the Q fly on Monday and therafter primarily due to the totality of the recent positive news items , technical buy signals and options expiry.

Ericsson/J-Phone -2: WCDMA Networks In Japan >ERICY


STOCKHOLM (Dow Jones)--Sweden's Telefon AB LM Ericsson (ERICY) said Monday
it has signed an agreement with J-Phone Communications Co. Ltd. covering the
commercial launch of WCDMA third generation, or 3G, mobile phone networks in
Japan.
Financial terms weren't disclosed. J-Phone Group is owned by Japan Telecom
Co. Ltd. (J.JTC), Vodafone Group PLC (VOD) and British Telecommunications
PLC (BTY).
Ericsson will supply systems to support J-Phone's planned launch of 3G WCDMA
mobile phone services in the Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya regions. The new
networks are expected to start operations in 2001.
