When I watch these young athletes, I melt.
I'm in such awe of their dedication and
ability and I am so proud of them.
All of them. I feel like the consummate mother.
Regardless of nationality.
It doesn't matter.
They are there.
And, we merely watch.
Some of us, that is.

Watched some last night. really getting tired of the network coverage. If they spent 1/4 of the human interest time, you would get double the sports action. I'm not saying get rid of the "HI" part, but pleaesesss
give me the Olympics not a soap opera. JMHO

*Is anyone on the porch watching the Olympics?>

Absolutely, I look forward to the Olympics the same way I did as a kid...watch the US/China womens soccer game now...great game.

Simon Whitfield's final kick was just unbelievable.

Thanks to Canadian TV CBUT, great coverage.. NBC just uses the Olympics as an excuse to do another miniseries. MSNBC is better.
