Dear JDN: Thank you very much. I've copied your information for when I get the new car. For now, you and someone who sent me a PM (also on car care) are **bad** influences.

Thanks to you guys, I went to an auto supply store yesterday afternoon and bought a car washing mit, car wash liquid, some medium rubbing compound, touchup paint, and a tin of Meguiar's Cleaner Wax [I remembered you had used the product of something that started with, "M,"].

Yesterday I gave part of the car a thorough cleaning [after first going through a car wash] and touched up any paint nicks. A few minutes ago I finished waxing that section. This afternoon I'll start on the next section.

Boy oh boy is this a lot of work! **BUT** since I have decided not to trade in my current car, I figured I better try to protect the paint before it is too late.

This tin of wax will not be enough for the car so I'll finish off with the liquid. Thanks for the tip!

My friends are going to think I had a nervous breakdown.

Regards,

Lynn
