Bill. Right A.Greenspan said in one of his speeches before the house: Debt reduction is preferable to more GVT spending, but if you have to spend, spend it on a tax cut.
And yes, the surplus is the peoples money, so what's wrong with giving some back to the people that "paid" the taxes?

This new plan sounds alright to me. If you can't get the administration to sign on to tax relief for everyone that paid the taxes, pay down more debt until you get someone more friendly towards tax payers.

It looks like the market is worried about the elections. We need someone that will give us a better energy policy and I am pretty sure that this will not be accomplished by Gore.

Of course, the market may just have its usual Sep/Oct down turn. A little weird for an election year. I thought the market generally does great before the elections.

Hm. The Nas is down over 10% since Sep 1. QCOM is doing alright and so is AOL. Intel is holding its own.
