Hi David - go easy on JDN, he has a serious case of near-sightedness, the lenses on his glasses are two inches thick (like Joe Paterno's) and they have a heavy rose-colored tint to them ... <G>.

... speaking of Joe Paterno, Penn State is (2-6) in their last 8 games ... sure glad I sold my season tickets before the season started ... and that those tough Wisconsin Badgers are not on the schedule this year.

"All OPEC members but Saudi Arabia are producing @ capacity"

What makes you say this? I happen to know you are wrong but am interested in your reasons for thinking this. Even if they were producing at capacity, it wouldn't take much to increase the definition of "at capacity" with a few more installations.

OPEC are treading a fine line between maximising revenues, and forcing the rest of the world to further reduce their dependency on oil (thus damaging their own market). The idea that we may go short of oil, due to capacity is ludicrous. The threats to oil supplies come mainly from unrest, and the oil producing countries, I believe, are clever enough to avoid revenue threatening unrest.
