JBK I seriously doubt that hydrogen will be a major factor because of the storage problems,(to big of tank with limited capacity) ; filling concerns, gas vapors leaking; and crash problems, exploding tanks ala Pinto. From what I have heard, the Chrysler fuel cell using a variety of gases, including regular and diesel gas, will probably be the immediate future. They supposedly run quite clean and improve mpg considerably.
