cdR.iD,

<< Who the hell is Tubby Raymond? >>

Are you a college football fan or do you just tailgate?

<< Who the hell is Tubby Raymond? >>

Who the hell is Bob Toledo and just how many career wins does he have?

<< Who the hell is Tubby Raymond? >>

Tubby is the widower of the late Sue Raymond who was nationally acclaimed for her work with the hearing impaired.

<< Who the hell is Tubby Raymond? >>

Tubby is the father of David Raymond, the original Philly Fanatic.

<< Who the hell is Tubby Raymond? >>

With 287 career victories, Tubby is one of only 10 coaches in college football history to reach the 250-win plateau. and he ranks directly behind Eddie Robinson, and Joe Paterno. Tubby has three NCAA National Championships, 13 Lambert Cup trophies. and the majority of the NFL coaches and assistant coaches that earned Super Bowl rings in Pittsburgh and San Francisco, are alumni of his summer coaching clinics mandated by Chuck Noll & Eddie D.

You have heard of the Wing-T, have you not? Tubby didn't invent the Wing-T (his former Michigan roomate and boss did), he just wrote the book(s) on it.

Your right, I-AA is not I-A and Delaware Stadium is not the Rose Bowl, but the NFL is populated with great I-AA ball players, and tailgating is tailgating, and football is football.

So yesterday the Bruins knocked off #3 in I-A at home in 110 degree heat without Drew Henson, and we knocked off #4 in I-AA, away.

We both move up. Lets see how we are comparatively ranked in our respective divisions come Monday. We'll move to 8th or 7th.

#8 in coaches poll is good and sorry about that 2-1 (misprint in local rag. the Bruins DON'T get the rspect they DON'T deserve).

Too bad Drew Henson was sidelined yesterday.

So its 3-0/3-0 and we'll look at the polls when all are in.

One Big difference between Division I-A and I-AA. At end of season you really know who is Number 1. Playoff system. True national champion. Beats even the evolving Bowl system.

Sounds like a horse race to me. Lets keep track.

You guys ever play on the road? Thought you only played basketball. Bruins football is an oxymoron isn't it?

<< Who the hell is Tubby Raymond? >>

Now, you are better equipped to talk football. You know who Tubby Raymond is.
